Mary Jane Karas

Hi, I’m Mary Jane. I’m a graphic designer and recent graduate from Winthrop University with a degree in Commercial Art. I’ve always loved learning and making things, and graphic design gave me a way to turn that into something bigger. I’m drawn to simple, bold, and fun design that feels intentional and connects with people. My work includes branding, campaign design, print, photography, motion graphics, and social media.

I also created my own brand, The Lazy Lass, where I design and sell dog beds. Building The Lazy Lass has given me hands-on experience in branding, product design, photography, content creation, and marketing, while combining my love for textiles and design. It’s been one of the biggest ways I’ve grown creatively and learned how design works beyond the screen.
